Editorial independence

Reveal renders photographs through named photographic traditions — Zone System B&W, New Color, Quiet Light, Wilderness Sublime, Industrial Sublime, Decisive Moment, Cinematic Twilight. Each tradition is rooted in the work of one or more photographers we admire. We name those photographers in artist statements as a way of explaining what tradition we chose for your photograph and why.

We are independent of every photographer named.

The photographers we reference are not affiliated with Reveal, have not endorsed Reveal, and have not authorized any specific output Reveal produces. References are editorial — they exist to give you the historical context a working photographer would have shared with you standing where you stood.
